“Remote control driving” is fun, but not very practical

Although Su Rui is still positioned as a compact car, its overall size is not small, with a length of 4680mm, a width of 1765mm, a height of 1490mm, and a wheelbase of 2660mm. Su Rui's appearance is simple and atmospheric, and no obvious imitations can be found on the front face. Among them, the front face shape created by the large-size headlights and the chrome-plated middle grille has a strong overall sense. Although the shape is modest, it is still pretty.

The rearview mirror is very functional. In addition to the turn signal, it also has a welcome light and a right blind spot camera. These functions are unique in cars of the same price.

The rear shape of the Su Rui is the same as the front face, and it also adopts a simple design style. The two huge diamond-shaped taillights, coupled with the chrome trim on the upper edge of the license plate frame, create a strong visual integrity. Among them, the brake light uses six LED light-emitting diodes, which are faster in response and more durable. As for other things such as: reversing lights, turn signals, and width indicators, ordinary light bulbs are still used.

Judging from the appearance of Su Rui, it can be said that it is no longer behind the competitors of the same level such as Emgrand EC7 and Baojun 630.

■ Center console: mature design and configuration are extremely rich

The design of the center console of Su Rui is mature, and the color matching of upper black and lower rice is also very traditional. As for the materials of the center console, it didn't bring us any surprises, and it was hard from top to bottom. However, the workmanship, seams and plastic surface texture treatment are much better than the original F3, G3 and L3.

The shape of the steering wheel is exactly the same as that of the Accord. The outer ring is wrapped in leather, which feels pretty good and has rich functionality. Among them, the multi-function button on the left is used to control the audio and Bluetooth phone functions, and the right is the switch of the trip computer and the control of the blind spot camera system on the right. The dashboard design is very dazzling, and the most commonly used speedometers and steering tables use a barrel design. A 4.3-inch color driving computer display is embedded in the middle. There is a row of small LCD screens on the top of the center console. The feature-rich DVD multimedia entertainment system is a very common configuration for independent brand cars, and Su Rui is no exception. It has DVD playback, navigation, digital TV, Bluetooth phone, FM radio, reversing video…In short, it has all the entertainment functions you can think of. As for scalability, AUX, USB, and SD card interfaces are not lost. The resolution of the screen and the speed of reflection of the touch screen are better than those of cars of the same class.

The sound and air-conditioning control buttons with Chinese logos are a major feature of BYD, which is very intuitive, especially for those who are older and have poor English skills. The feel and damping of the buttons are also satisfactory. What needs to be praised is that Su Rui's glove box opens with damping, and the unexpectedly enhanced configuration always makes people applaud.

The design of the front storage space is also reasonable, and there is a little margin after the two water bottles are put in the door. There are also two cup holders in the center armrest of the front row. The depth of the center armrest is average, but it is no problem to put a coin purse and other personal items. In addition, the glove box is deep and practical.

The design of the center console of Su Rui is moderate, and the color combination of upper black and lower rice is also very traditional. There are no surprises in the materials, and the configuration is quite rich. In terms of button damping, feel, and humanized design of storage space, Su Rui has been significantly improved over the previous BYD F3, G3, and L3.

■ Seat and space: the space performance is average, and the seat material feels good

The design of Su Rui's door interior panel is very layered, and the hand pillow is also wrapped in leather with soft filler inside, which feels pretty good. The four-door power window only has a one-key lift function on the main driver's side, and there is room for improvement.

The front seats are wide and flat, with almost no lateral wrapping. The inner fillings are moderately soft and hard. The leather feel and workmanship are fairly delicate, at least much stronger than the so-called leather seats on F3, G3 and other cars! The rear seats also take a wide and comfortable route, with a lot of center armrests, child safety seat interfaces, and three three-point safety belts. Unfortunately, there are two places. First, it does not have a headrest for the middle passenger, and second, the seat back cannot be folded down.

In terms of space, a 178cm-tall experiencer adjusts the front seat to a reasonable sitting position, and the head space is about 3 fingers. At this time, the back leg space is a punch + 2 fingers, and the head is 2 fingers. In general, Su Rui's legroom performance is not bad, and the headroom, whether it is the front row or the back row, is relatively cramped.

There is a cup holder inside each of the two rear doors of Su Rui, and the height design is very reasonable. At the same time, there are two cup holders on the center armrest of the rear row, plus a storage bag on the back of the front seat. You can get a pretty good storage space, and you don’t have to worry about finding a place to put your belongings. The disadvantage is that the ashtray is a bit small.

■ Power matching: 1.5TI + 6-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox

In terms of power, the biggest highlight of Su Rui is that it is equipped with a 1.5TI in-cylinder direct injection, turbocharged engine + 6-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox. The maximum power is 154 horsepower/5200prm, the maximum torque is 240 Nm/1750-3500rpm, and the 0-100km/h acceleration score announced by the manufacturer is 8.9 seconds. In terms of suspension, Su Rui's performance is not as eye-catching as the engine and gearbox.
