[YesAuto News] Recently, as a new product of Citroen, the multifunctional C-Crosser made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The car has a strong posture, a 5+2 seat design, a powerful and environmentally friendly diesel engine, and four-wheel drive technology. Citroen C-Crosser fills the gap in Citroen's product series in the field of SUVs, and satisfies the needs of consumers who pursue the pleasure of driving in the wild.
The exterior design of the Citroen C-Crosser is very dynamic, and the front face of the body adopts a V-shaped design familiar to the public. The thick wheel eyebrows and the uniquely shaped aluminum alloy wheels further highlight the uniqueness of the car.
The car is equipped with a new generation of Citroen's 2.2-liter Hdi engine with an output of 156 horsepower, which can produce a maximum torque of 380N·m/2000rpm, and is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. This diesel engine has low fuel consumption and excellent environmental performance. It is also equipped with a super diesel particulate filter system. At the same time, the engine can also use 30% synthetic diesel as fuel.
In order to enhance the car's comfort, handling and off-road capabilities, the car has introduced three sets of transmissions for consumers to choose from, which can be changed according to road conditions and driving styles. The driver can switch between two-wheel drive, electronically controlled all-wheel drive, and low grip on wet roads. This change can be achieved through a button installed on the center console.
The second and third rows of seats use a foldable design that is very easy to operate, which can quickly and effortlessly change the seat layout to provide ample storage space. At the same time, the car's wide body size can provide consumers with a comfortable sitting space. The rear compartment has a very spacious space, so larger luggage can be easily put in, and the lower space can carry 200 kg of cargo.
In order to enhance the comfort of passengers, Citroen C-Crosser is equipped with high-tech equipment. This includes a reversing camera that assists maneuvering and parking. The device is located on the license plate. When the vehicle is reversing, the camera will automatically monitor it, and the monitoring image will be displayed on the smart navigation display.
Xavier Duchemin, Managing Director of Citroen, said: “C-Crosser completes Citroen's product range, and the car can also meet all the needs of consumers. The car can be used as an SUV or as an MPV. ”
Citroen C-Crosser will be the first to be launched in Europe this summer, and we will wait and see whether it will be sold in markets outside of Europe.
