[YesAuto Recall] A few days ago, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ in accordance with the requirements of the “Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products” and decided to recall imported Tule/domestic Tiida 1.6 from November 28, 2014. T/China-made X-Trail 2.0L models, a total of 21,415 vehicles.

Nissan recall scope:

(1) Part of imported Patrol cars produced from September 1, 2011 to June 25, 2014, a total of 305 vehicles;

(2) Some of the new Tiida 1.6T cars produced from January 7, 2012 to January 19, 2014, a total of 465 vehicles;

(3) Some X-Trail 2.0L cars produced from February 18, 2014 to October 24, 2014, totaling 20645 vehicles.


At the same time, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. also filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, recalling imported Infiniti QX56 and QX80 vehicles produced from December 26, 2011 to June 20, 2014, a total of 1,296 vehicles. Affected by parts supply channels and transportation factors, this recall will be implemented on December 29, 2014.

Infiniti recall scope:

A total of 1,296 imported Infiniti QX56 and QX80 cars were produced from December 26, 2011 to June 20, 2014.

Recall reason:

Due to the improper tightening method of the fuel pressure sensor on the engine fuel rail in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, under engine vibration and other conditions, the tightening of a few fuel pressure sensors may be loosened, causing fuel to occur at the thread of the fuel pressure sensor. Leakage poses a safety hazard.

Solution:

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will conduct free inspections and repairs for vehicles within the scope of the recall, and strengthen the tightening force of the fuel pressure sensor to eliminate potential safety hazards.
