◆ Accelerated test:

We have long been accustomed to the self-protection of the dual-clutch gearbox when starting. Surprisingly, the Su Rui gearbox has almost no limit on the starting speed, and can even start at 5000 rpm! After the brake is released, the gearbox is quickly combined. The 205mm-wide tires are slipping wildly. The scene is very visually impactful, but this will lose too much dynamic torque, so the starting speed should not be too high. A small episode occurred during the test: after about ten times of extreme acceleration, the odd gears of the gearbox suddenly disappeared, leaving only 2, 4, and 6 gears. After turning off the engine and restarting the engine, everything returned to normal. I think this statement is credible. When we step on the brakes and hit the accelerator on the spot, the clutch is actually in a semi-linked state. Frequent high-speed combination will inevitably make the clutch overload and the danger of overheating. Everyone is familiar with it. With the “dual clutch” structure, a strike of a clutch can cause the loss of the three coaxial gears, and in all likelihood, it is 1, 3, and 5 gears. Everyone may have questions. I have never heard of a dry dual-clutch gearbox that is so fragile. In fact, we all know that dual-clutch gearboxes usually cannot hit the throttle to raise the starting speed in the D gear. They are very gentle at the start. This is actually the protective measure of the program design on the clutch. This is not the case with BYD's gearbox. It will first try to meet the needs of the driver, allowing you to start at high speeds until you are close to the clutch's tolerance limit and start the overheat protection program; other dual-clutch gearboxes focus on the source. The stroke of the Su Rui brake pedal is short and the feedback is moderate. What is rare is that the release of the braking force is very linear, and there is almost no ABS spring foot situation, which gives people a very good feeling.
