  7. General Administration of Quality...

[YesAuto News] A few days ago, domestic media reported that the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine may launch a quality investigation of the Porsche 918 Spyder sold in China.

The cause of the investigation is that Porsche conducted two recalls overseas in September of this year and just recently. The two recalls were for rear axle control arm problems and chassis problems. Therefore, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine decided to investigate the models sold in China. However, we have not found relevant information on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and we still need to wait for official information on the progress.

According to Bloomberg's speculation, the 918 Spyder's chassis problem was discovered during the internal quality test, but the problem has not been registered. Whether this is the case, we still need to wait for Porsche's response. (Source: Bloomberg; Compiler/Car Home Zhang Ning)
