Chinese brand car companies are not outdated in the research and development of 1.0T engines. Through close cooperation with many parts suppliers, they have the momentum to quickly catch up in the research and development of 1.0T engine products.

Today we are going to introduce that this 1.0T engine independently developed by the FAW Group is the most outstanding one among the independently developed 1.0T engine products recently released by Chinese brands.

● Features of FAW Group 1.0T engine

The 1.0T engine independently developed by FAW Group is equipped with mainstream technologies such as turbocharging, direct injection, variable valve timing of intake and exhaust, and integrated exhaust manifold. It adopts low-tension piston rings, DLC (Diamond -Like Carbon, diamond-like carbon) low friction coating, variable displacement oil pump, split cooling (cylinder head and cylinder block have separate cooling channels), excessive balance shaft motion system to optimize engine operating efficiency and improve engine smoothness.

From the parameter comparison table above, we can see that the current mainstream 1.0T engine has a maximum power of about 120 horsepower and a peak torque of about 170 N·m. The 1.0T engine of FAW Group has reached this standard. In addition, we have also noticed that the 1.0T engine produced by Honda has a maximum power of 129 horsepower and a peak torque of 200 N·m, which represents the highest level of mass-produced 1.0T engines.
