  7. Reduced air resistance Audi...

[YesAuto Racing Exposure] A few days ago, Audi has provided a new aerodynamics package for the R18 e-tron quattro endurance racing car, and confirmed it will be put into use in the Spa 6-hour endurance race.

The new aerodynamics kit re-modified the front fairing and side boxes, changed the location of a vent, and replaced it with a new rear spoiler.

Jan Monchaux, chief engineer of aerodynamics at Audi Sport, introduced the new kit: “Because the downforce is not as high in Le Mans as it is required in other circuits, the front and rear spoilers of the new aerodynamic kit The angle of the board is no longer so steep, which helps the car to reduce air resistance, thereby giving full play to the speed advantage.” (Compiler/Car Home Guo Feng)
