Recall models:

Since December 2, 2014, some imported 2013 and 2014 Jaguar XJL models will be recalled. The production date is from February 6, 2012 to July 23, 2014. According to the company's statistics, 2,877 vehicles are involved in mainland China.

Reason for recall:

The vehicles within the scope of this recall are due to the fact that the production plant used the manual brake pipe joint tightening process during the repair of the special tools in the brake pipe joint tightening process, resulting in the brake pipe joints may not reach the correct torque Specifications, may cause brake fluid leakage, cause the brake pedal stroke to be lengthened, braking performance reduced, and braking performance completely lost.

Solution:

Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will conduct free inspections and repair the involved vehicles and tighten the brake pipe joints to the standard torque value to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will notify relevant customers and invite them to contact the nearest authorized repair center to arrange related free inspections and repairs.
