[YesAuto News] Recently, Shanghai General Motors Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in accordance with the requirements of the “Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products” and decided to recall some LaCrosse models from March 1, 2015.
Recall models: The 2006 Buick LaCrosse produced between January 11, 2006 and November 8, 2006, a total of 40,496 vehicles.
Reason for the recall: Some of the vehicle headlight drive modules within the scope of this recall may not work properly after long-term use. In extreme cases, the low beam may not be lit, which poses a safety risk.
Solution: Shanghai General Motors Co., Ltd. will replace the headlamp drive modules for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards. Shanghai General Motors Co., Ltd. will proactively contact users within the scope through Buick's special after-sales service center to arrange free maintenance.
