● Driving performance

It is heavy, and the steering is very sensitive and the accuracy is relatively high. The 5-speed parallel-shaft gearbox performs well. The engine speed is generally controlled below 2500rpm during daily driving. As long as you don’t step on the accelerator deeply, it will actively upshift. The power output of the engine in this speed range is relatively mild, but it will not feel fleshy.
Slightly step on the accelerator, the gearbox responds quickly, and quickly downshifts to pull the speed above 3000rpm. The naturally aspirated engine comes more suddenly and more violently, which is due to i-VTEC.
The dynamic performance of this gearbox is pretty good, but I ran into a small problem when operating the gears: when D gear is engaged from front to back, the gap between the gears is very small, and the D3 gear does not need to hold the unlock button. Hanging in, so I often accidentally “push over my head”, so I have to push it back to D gear again. It feels very bad. If you can set D3 gear to require pressing the unlock button to hang it in, this problem can be solved. Up.
Siming’s brake pedal works well at low speeds. The suspension system shows good toughness when winding around the pile, and the rebound is very fast every time the direction changes, but the compression amount each time is not small, and the body posture makes people feel sweaty. On the whole, Siming's tracking performance when circling the pile is not inferior to the Mazda 3 with excellent handling, but the uneven steering makes the handling a little more difficult.
● Performance test
Siming's gearbox allows a maximum start of 2500rpm, and the start is not vigorous. The tires only slipped slightly, and then the grip was restored soon. However, a strong sense of acceleration lasts for a long time, and there is no obvious attenuation of power for a long time after starting, and the linear degree of acceleration is relatively high. The gearbox shifted into 2nd gear at about 60km/h. The shifting action was a bit slow, but very smooth. In the end, Siming broke through 100km/h at the end of 2nd gear, which took 10.72 seconds.
