The test car we got is a 2.0T high-power version, the official model is 40TFSI, the horizontal EA888 engine, the maximum power is 211 horsepower, the peak torque is 300N·m, and the other low-power version is 35TFSI. To introduce, the gearbox is the S-tronic seven-speed dual-clutch version.
Let's look at the test results first. The official 100km acceleration time of Q3 is 6.9 seconds, and our measured fastest time is 7.05 seconds. The moment of start is the most exciting of the SUVs tested recently, and it makes people hooked.
What I didn’t expect before was that the Q3 could also start with the ejection method, turn off ESP, enter dynamic mode, put S gear, the starting speed can climb to 3500rpm, the brake pedal is thrown off, the body suddenly pops out, and the car feels quite violent. Four The drive system distributes power reasonably, and the action is not violent from the outside of the car. The graph shows that the highest G value reached 0.861g, similar to the 0.93g of last year's Range Rover Aurora, both of which are very high values. It is a small pity that it failed to enter the 7-second mark. Of course, a compact SUV ran in 7.05 seconds, which is enough.
Q3 brake test results are very good, 37.3 meters, the highest level of this level. The forward lean of the body is more obvious when braking at full force. Affected by this, the G value once rebounded to -0.931g. Fortunately, the braking system itself is in place. After the body is stable, the G value returns to below -1g. We are very satisfied with the final result. .
After the ESP of Q3 is turned off, the ABS work is obviously affected. The tires are locked, the body is slightly deviated, and the braking distance is greatly extended. When the ESP is turned on, everything is normal. This is the case for the two test cars we got. I am not sure whether the electronic program of the commercial vehicle is the same as that of the test vehicle. For the time being, it is recommended not to turn off the ESP under any circumstances. Turning on the ESP cannot feel the smooth start of the ejection, but safety always comes first. We will also continue to follow up with the manufacturer to find out whether it is the individual situation of the test car or the electronic program is indeed set up in this way.

The fuel consumption test was carried out for 104.4 kilometers. After a few expressways, about 10% and 25% were congested. The rest were ordinary roads with signal lights in the urban area. The air conditioner was turned on at 23°C and the manual air volume was medium.
The whole journey consumes 9.67 liters of No. 95 fuel, and the average fuel consumption is 9.26 liters/100 kilometers. This figure is relatively close to our recommended theoretical fuel consumption value. Taking into account the road conditions and the factors that the test car has not yet run-in period, the performance is reasonable.
People say that the Q3 is a small Q5. It is compact and full. When you sit in the cockpit, you feel that the car is really small. Looking back at the rear row, it is just enough. Over the years, large space has become one of the rigid needs of Chinese consumers for family cars. Whether it is Q3 or X1, they are not very competent for the important role of the first car in the whole family. If you are considering buying a second or third car The car is a very good choice.
Similar to other Audis, Q3 is also trying to cover everything in terms of driving. Drive select includes four modes: energy saving, comfort, dynamic, and automatic, covering most of the conditions of daily cars. As for how power, gears, and suspension work There is no need to talk in detail, any luxury brand can be adjusted this year, and everyone basically knows it. The high-power version of 40TFSI has quite ample power reserve and positive throttle response. After all, it is a two-liter displacement. The low-speed zone near 1000rpm will not be weak. After entering the peak torque platform early, it is very suitable for urban activities, flexible steering, and stable chassis. Daily driving is easy and not tiring. You know that this car is “small”, and it feels more handy than the Q5.
When I tested the BMW Brilliance X1 before, I found that its driving quality is very similar to that of the 3 Series. You can find enough driving pleasure from this SUV. The Q3 is more comprehensive, comfortable and decent, and other aspects are not bad. People who are strong in certain aspects are easy to remember, and those who can't pick out the sick in all aspects are easy to be accepted.
● Four-wheel drive system
The Q3's four-wheel drive system is a full-time four-wheel drive. As mentioned earlier, due to its compact size, its engine uses a horizontal layout. That is to say, the quattro four-wheel drive is different from the Q5. The center uses a Haldex multi-disc clutch differential. The Volkswagen 4MOTION system is similar. Due to small body size and high price, compact luxury SUV is not suitable as the only or first car in the family. Young and middle-aged consumers with sufficient economic capacity and small family burden will be the main buyers of this type of car. Home, this market is still a fresh field in China, the BMW Brilliance X1 is the most representative, and the imported Q3 is already a latecomer.
